Easter Sunday
Ahoy there from the Hyatt Regency Aruba! Easter was smack in the midst of our journey, and we have been excited to listen to that the Hyatt had an Easter egg hunt deliberate for the kiddos. (The Easter bunny visited our residence in Cville, so that they obtained baskets there on our return.)
Ready for the hunt to begin with Grammie!
There have been two sections: massive children and little children. However like most egg hunts, it was a madhouse and there have been a number of tears after.
Everybody recovered, and we rallied for lunchtime by the pool!
I had fish tacos and a Balashi!
Jolly Pirates
The spotlight of our journey for me was our afternoon snorkeling with Jolly Pirates! My sister did the reserving for us, and we had a superb time!! We climbed aboard this pirate ship (full with a pleasant crew!) and had enjoyable snorkeling at two completely different places adopted by some rope swinging and a dance occasion on the deck!
We traveled to 2 completely different snorkeling websites – the primary was a sunken ship from WWII. Taking a look at it underwater lined in barnacles was like trying on the Titanic! A bit creepy. The water was slightly tough, so the youthful kids stayed on board for that cease.
After 20 minutes or so there, we climbed again aboard and sailed to our second website, which was a calmer cove.
These guys obtained in with their goggles and simply put their faces within the water to see the faculties of fish we swam via! I didn’t even use a life jacket right here as a result of the water was so salty you principally float!
The Rope Swing
A spotlight of a Jolly Pirates journey is the rope swing! Guess who was the very first individual to go off of it?! Barbara Youthful!!

The Flip
I requested one of many ship mate’s if he may do the flip. He instructed me provided that I used to be on his again! On the way in which again, we had an open bar of Pirate’s Poison (and loads of NA choices for the youngsters). They usually cranked the music for the dance flooring!

After our snorkeling, we have been all exhausted and ended up having an off-the-cuff dinner on the resort whereas watching Duke (lose, sadly) in basketball.
Quick ahead to the following day after we spent our time on the seaside and pool!

Caya Home
For dinner, we walked into the city to Caya Home!
The ambiance within the outside courtyard was pretty!
I didn’t seize all of the meals we loved, but it surely was all scrumptious. Extra seafood! And yucca fries.
Afterwards we strolled via the city a bit and obtained some ice cream for dessert!
